2025 Las Vegas HBCU Classic

We are proud to be a HBCU alum but even more excited that two schools from the historic South Western Athletic Conference will play in the inaugural Las Vegas HBCU Classic.

 On October 25, 2025 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada the Grambling State Tigers will face off with the Jackson State Tigers. This will be the first game of this series and these two teams are sure to set the mark for years to come. These two historic institutions known for their athletic supremacy and legendary players such as Walter Payton, Doug Williams, Andrew Glover, Everson Walls to Jake Reed and countless others will be taking the field for a conference game that eliminate the opportunity for post season play for the loser of this game. 

The World Famed Grambling State Tiger Marching band will be competing against the Best Band in the Land also know as the Jackson State "SONIC BOOM" of the South at halftime and you should count on both bands performing somewhere around Las Vegas prior to the game. These are two of the premier marching bands in all of college sports and bring a sound, style , pageantry, and performance that is unforgettable.

So you have the game and countless events to the likes of COMPLEXCON, VERZUZ (Cash Money vs No Limit), pre and post game parties, alumni parties. If you need a reminder this is in Las Vegas so this will be like adding gasoline to a fire. This will be the most epic HBCU event of 2025.

We decided to create a commemorative t-shirt for this game that pays homage to the Las Vegas, Jackson State & Grambling State Universities. There are colorways for each team.
